The Watercolor Society of North Carolina, Inc. (WSNC) is a non-profit art organization; its purpose is to promote watercolor throughout the state and to elevate the standards of excellence in this medium.

Lew Wallace and Alexis Lavine were award winners in the 2011 North East Watercolor Society International Exhibition. Lew's "Descending Rapids" won the Creative Catalyst Production award and Alexis's "Love at the Taj" won the Jack Richeson and Company award.
