Watercolor Society of North Carolina
The Watercolor Society or North Carolina, Inc. (WSNC) is a non-profit art organization;
its purpose is to promote watercolor throughout the state and to elevate the standards of excellence in this medium.

Annual Meeting and Exhibition Opening Reception was October 11, 2009Calabash NCWe were pleased to have as our distinguished guest artist and juror Steve Rogers from Ormond Beach, FL. Steve was our instructor for a 4-day workshop Oct. 12th – 15th located at Sunset River Studios in Calabash. Sunset River Marketplace was our host for the exhibition and opening reception; it is a gallery of fine art and unique creations of local artists.

Oak Island Arts & Crafts FestivalThe Oak Island Arts Guild was held September 5, 2009, and featured more than 100 vendors. WSNC reserved a booth for this event, which drew thousands of Labor Day holiday visitors, and we will be introducing the new 2009 Poster for sale. Images and a report of the event will be posted soon. |
Posters from the WSNC 2008 and the 2009 exhibit are available for $20 unsigned, or $25 signed by the artist.
